UNIQUENESS

All items purchased through my shop are all handmade and unique unless otherwise stated. I pride myself on the attention to detail of my pieces and try to keep mark making intentional. If you ever receive a piece that does not seem to be as described, you must contact me immediately so I can look into it and find a reasonable resolution (including but not limited to discount of future purchase, creating a new piece, substitution of equal value item, etc.).

GLAZE/COLOR

Glazing (coloring) on pieces can differ substantially from how they appear in online photographs due to the high intensity lighting environment pictures are taken in. You understand that the same glaze formula can result in drastically different visual effects on separate items even if there is no real measurable difference between those items.

FOOD SAFE

Food safety is maintained by the FDA, which has regulations set forth regarding leaching limits, durability, stability, and absorbency. Unless described as "Ornamental/Not Food Safe", the clay body and coloring components used (glaze, underglaze, slip, stain, etc.) are derived from sources labeled as "Dinnerware Safe". You understand that once an items surface has shown even minor signs of deterioration such as chipping, cracking, and scratching, the item can no longer be considered "food safe".

COMMISSIONS / SPECIAL ORDERS / PRODUCTION POTTERY

When requesting multiple items of the "same" shape/design, you understand that although some items can look strikingly similar, by nature they will all have differences in shape and structure as I make each one by hand using measurements that can dynamically change depending on dryness levels, humidity, and other uncontrollable factors in the environment. I DO NOT use molds.

PROCESSING TIME / SHIPPING

My current processing time is about 5-7 business days (not including weekends or holidays). Any dates shown if tracking a package are just an estimate of delivery and ARE NOT guaranteed delivery dates. I am not responsible for items lost, stolen, or broken in transit.

LEAD TIMES

If you are interested in requesting a special order or commission, it will require written communication that documents the progress of said order all the way through completion of the project. Depending on the complexity of the project, it can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to finalize the idea and materialize the item(s). Due to the limitations of using external Studio Services to fire items, the firing process can add anywhere from 1-4 weeks of down time. In total, the average time-frame of a custom item can range from 1-2 months from initial conversation to final product in my hands. This time-frame DOES NOT include shipping if applicable.

REFUNDS

Due to the current dynamic of my shop, I DO NOT ACCEPT REFUNDS for any items purchased. If an issue presents itself with an item purchased, you agree to find reasonable resolution (including but not limited to discount of future purchase, creating a new piece, substitution of equal value item, etc.)
